Marketing Executive (Hotel)

About the role

The Marketing Executive will provide administrative support to the marketing office of a luxury hotel and assist in creating and implementing a range of marketing activities, including collateral, promotions and social media. This is an on‑site, entry‑level position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the marketing office, manage appointments, filing, phone calls and daily correspondence.
• Handle financial documents such as purchase orders, expense claims and vendor invoices.
• Assist the Marketing Manager in creating and executing marketing activities: collateral production, promotions, advertising, market analysis, photo shoots and social‑media calendars.
• Maintain hotel listings in online and offline media and update picture storage systems.
• Coordinate direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and manage the guest mailing database.
• Liaise with F&B, sales, PR and creative agencies to ensure consistent branding and promotion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communication or Marketing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar marketing support role.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of basic marketing principles and graphic/print terminology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
