Marketing Manager

About the role

The partner company is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution for key brands within a fast‑moving fintech and payments environment in Kenya. You will own the end‑to‑end marketing process, from concept through delivery, while ensuring alignment with commercial goals and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies, roadmaps and KPIs for assigned brands.
• Serve as the primary contact for brands and stakeholders, leading strategic discussions and providing expert recommendations.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage marketing budgets, track performance and produce clear reporting on outcomes and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure activities support broader business objectives.
• Oversee multiple brand or client accounts simultaneously with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Apply payment‑industry knowledge, including compliance, regulatory messaging, merchant acquiring, chargebacks and risk management.
• Review marketing claims and materials for industry compliance.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders by providing strategic guidance and taking ownership of results.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing management, leadership or account management.
• Proven experience in payments or fintech marketing.
• Strong understanding of payment‑industry requirements and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to work independently, drive initiatives from concept to execution and solve challenges without extensive supervision.
