Marketing Specialist – SEO, AEO & Social Media

About the role

We are looking for a driven Marketing Specialist to expand our digital footprint across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and social media. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own the execution of on‑page SEO, content optimisation and social media publishing while collaborating with external technical‑SEO partners. The role offers full autonomy to propose improvements and grow into broader strategic responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and optimise on‑page SEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, internal linking and URL optimisation.
• Build on existing keyword strategies and content clusters to improve organic visibility and rankings.
• Collaborate with outsourced technical‑SEO partners to ensure recommendations are implemented.
• Optimise content for AEO, including featured snippets, AI‑driven search experiences, voice search and ChatGPT‑style results.
• Use SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz) to monitor performance, track rankings and identify growth opportunities.
• Audit and update existing content to boost rankings, engagement and conversions.
• Create and optimise new content, repurpose existing assets and ensure alignment with SEO/AEO best practices.
• Manage social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, handling content creation, scheduling (using Feedbird) and publishing.
• Monitor engagement metrics, respond to comments and provide data‑driven optimisation suggestions.
