Mason – Construction Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our construction projects in Westlands, Nairobi. The role is project‑based and offers a daily rate of KSHS 1,500 for skilled masonry and tiling work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general masonry tasks such as block laying, plastering and finishing.
• Perform tiling on floors, walls and other surfaces ensuring high‑quality finishes.
• Maintain proper alignment, leveling and measurements in all construction activities.
• Interpret construction drawings and project specifications where required.
• Assist with site preparation, keep the work area clean and handle tools safely.
• Adhere to health and safety rules, use protective gear and report hazards promptly.
• Be flexible to travel or relocate to different project sites as needed.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of proven experience in masonry and tiling.
• Strong understanding of construction measurements, leveling and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read basic construction plans (advantageous).
• Physical stamina for demanding work environments.
• Reliability, good time‑management and attention to detail.
