Mechatronics Engineering Internship – Hands‑on Industrial Experience

About the role

Bridge Talent Management is seeking recent Diploma graduates in Mechatronic Engineering for a paid internship with a leading plastic packaging manufacturer in Nairobi. Interns will gain practical exposure to industrial equipment, automation, and maintenance while working alongside experienced technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, operation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial machinery and electromechanical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting of basic mechanical, electrical, and equipment‑related faults under supervision.
• Participate in preventive maintenance, routine equipment checks, and installation, testing, and monitoring of machinery, sensors, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and technical observations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering from a recognised institution; recent graduates encouraged.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
