MEL & Data Analysis Specialist

About the role

The MEL & Data Analysis Specialist will ensure accurate monitoring, evaluation, and learning data across Silverleaf Academy’s schools. You will maintain data quality, build and sustain leadership dashboards, and support reporting for funders and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from school management systems and field tools, addressing gaps and errors.
• Maintain the MEL indicator matrix covering literacy, numeracy, SEL, retention, teacher training, and placement.
• Develop, update, and troubleshoot leadership dashboards, implementing automation to reduce manual effort.
• Produce regular data summaries and reports, supporting funder/partner reporting and assessment cycles such as EGRA/EGMA.
• Coordinate with the Executive Principal and department heads to ensure timely data flow and provide training to campus teams.
• Document data definitions, collection templates, and system processes for team use.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 3 years) in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑team coordination.
• Familiarity with education monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
