About the role

The Cambridge Curriculum Maths Teacher will join a dedicated team of educators in Kisii County, Kenya, delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on fostering academic excellence and an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that meet Cambridge standards.
• Develop schemes of work and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learner needs.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate performance records, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture that promotes academic success.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in mathematics and familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Previous experience teaching mathematics within an international or Cambridge‑based curriculum is highly beneficial.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
