Member of Technical Staff – Frontier AI (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join a leading AI research team working on frontier‑level models. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing, building, and scaling next‑generation artificial‑intelligence systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise novel AI architectures and algorithms.
• Lead research projects aimed at improving model efficiency, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to integrate AI solutions into production pipelines.
• Publish research findings in technical reports, white‑papers or conference submissions.
• Evaluate and benchmark emerging models, frameworks and hardware accelerators.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and drive complex technical projects.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for large‑scale AI systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with large‑scale distributed training and model optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of AI hardware accelerators (GPUs, TPUs).
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, generative models or multi‑modal AI systems.
