Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on analyzing complex legal and regulatory frameworks to guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret laws, regulations, and case law to inform product decisions
• Develop technical frameworks and tools to automate legal research processes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate legal insights into product design
• Evaluate emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions
• Draft technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education
• Experience with regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Required skills

• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools
• Ability to translate legal concepts into technical requirements
