Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specializing in Legal Research to join a global software development leader on a full‑time remote basis. In this role you will investigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks, translate them into technical requirements, and help shape products that meet both innovation goals and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Develop technical frameworks and tools that automate legal‑research workflows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to embed legal insights into solutions.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology offerings.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proficiency with legal‑research methodologies and tools.
• Experience conducting regulatory analysis and working within compliance frameworks.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
