Member Services Representative – YMCA

About the role

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking a friendly, professional Member Services Representative to be the first point of contact for current and prospective members. You will deliver excellent customer service, support membership sales and renewals, and help create a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and visitors and provide information about YMCA programs and membership options.
• Assist with membership inquiries, registrations, renewals, cancellations and changes.
• Conduct tours and orientation sessions for prospective members.
• Process cash transactions for membership fees and program payments.
• Maintain accurate member records in the database and keep the front‑desk area clean and organized.
• Monitor facility access, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with other YMCA staff to enhance the overall member experience.
• Support special events and community outreach activities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a community‑focused or membership‑based organization is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid and AED certification within 30 days if not already certified.

• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations professionally.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with member‑management software.
• Attention to detail and solid problem‑solving skills.
