Merchandiser – Solar Lights (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for energetic merchandisers to promote solar lighting products across various supermarkets in Nairobi. You will engage customers, demonstrate product benefits and drive sales to meet daily and monthly targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and actively sell solar lighting products within assigned supermarkets.
• Provide product information, demonstrations and recommendations to customers.
• Maintain attractive product displays in line with merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies and assist with inventory rotation.
• Submit daily sales reports and share market feedback with supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a merchandiser, sales promoter or similar role, preferably in supermarkets or FMCG environments.
• Experience with electronics, solar products or consumer‑goods sales is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong sales and persuasion abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.
