Business Development & Execution Office Support

About the role

The incumbent shall be responsible for overall sales strategy to grow revenue for designated accounts/region through contacting potential clients to establish new business and retain existing clients. They shall also be responsible for correct registration of inspection results executed by the inspectors ensuring key performance indicators are achieved in inspection execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation and creation of sales plans to grow SGS revenue for designated accounts/region.
• Manage customer relations by anticipating client needs, recommending solutions and converting them into sales opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitor research, prepare presentations, quotations, service agreements and tenders within deadlines.
• Maintain a database of clients with contact information.
• Coordinate inspection registration, ensuring correct recording of inspection results for the assigned region.
• Follow up on pending requirements for files, registrations and licenses.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all jobs executed.
• Provide customer service for the execution office and monitor key performance indicators for inspectors.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent.
• Practical sales experience.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures (internal training).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of international trade and regulatory compliance.
