Micro Marketing Field Promoter

About the role

The Micro Marketing Field Promoter will increase product visibility and drive sales of a lubricant brand at points of sale in Kisumu. The role requires a background in lubricants, automotive or mechanical trade, a relevant certificate or diploma, and strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Increase product visibility at point of sale.
• Create awareness for the client’s lubricant brand.
• Collect field and competitor marketing insights.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads.
• Actively sell and drive volume on the ground.

Required profile

• Background in lubricants, automotive or mechanical trade with a certificate or diploma in mechanical/automotive engineering or hands‑on garage experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home for up to a month.
• Prior experience in field sales, merchandising or brand promotion is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and people skills, comfortable speaking with mechanics and workshop owners.
• Self‑driven, resilient and able to work independently to meet daily/weekly field targets.
• Basic reporting skills to capture and share field insights accurately.
