Micro Marketing Field Promoter – Kisii

About the role

The Micro Marketing Field Promoter will increase product visibility and drive lubricant brand sales at point of sale. The role requires a background in lubricants, automotive or mechanical trade and strong communication and negotiation skills, working on‑site in Kisii.

Key responsibilities

• Increase product visibility at point of sale.
• Create awareness for the client’s lubricant brand.
• Collect field and competitor marketing insights.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads.
• Actively sell and drive volume on the ground.

Required profile

• Background in lubricants, automotive or mechanical trade – certificate/diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering or hands‑on garage experience preferred.
• Willing and able to travel extensively and be away from home for a month or so at a stretch.
• Prior experience in field sales, merchandising or brand promotion is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and people skills; comfortable talking to mechanics and workshop owners.
• Self‑driven and resilient, able to work independently and meet daily/weekly field targets.
• Basic reporting skills – able to capture and share field insights accurately.
