Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

About the role

Zamara is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable ERP solutions as part of its digital transformation program. The role focuses on customizing and extending Business Central, integrating it with surrounding systems and ensuring optimal performance and user experience. It is a full-time position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy extensions and customizations in Business Central using the AL language.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems such as Microsoft Power Platform.
• Maintain code quality through version control, CI/CD and documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues, and optimize performance and scalability.
• Support upgrade and migration activities, including data and configuration transfer.
• Take part in code reviews, testing and release management.
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers and business users to turn requirements into technical specifications.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in Business Central or NAV development.
• Strong understanding of AL, the VS Code environment and extensions.
• Experience turning business needs into detailed technical requirements, with solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
