Mobilization Manager

About the role

The Mobilization Manager will lead all mobilization activities across multiple states in India, ensuring a steady pipeline of trained women and girls for placement in the company's factories. The role involves sourcing candidates from skill training agencies, educational institutions, women collectives and community groups, and coordinating with internal plant teams to meet recruitment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute mobilization strategies for direct placement of trained women/girls in factory roles, primarily Sewing Machine Operators.
• Build and manage a network of community mobilizers at block and district levels, providing guidance and overseeing daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with skill vertical teams, plant officials and corporate functions to ensure timely counseling, screening and enrollment of candidates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government skill development programmes (e.g., Samarth, PMKVY, DDUGKY, RSETI) and NGOs working on women’s livelihood.
• Prepare regular monitoring, reporting and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s or postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Management or related field from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on women empowerment, livelihood or skill development projects at the grassroots level.
• Proven experience in building and leading development teams and a strong network with government and non‑government institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement large‑scale skill development initiatives.
