Senior Compensation Analyst

About the role

Hope Gas is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that align with the company’s strategic objectives. The role ensures competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices while supporting benefits and retirement initiatives for employees, retirees, and union members.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze jobs using market pricing and internal equity tools to recommend salary ranges and classifications.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to keep compensation programs competitive.
• Support annual compensation processes, including merit increases, market adjustments, and incentive programs.
• Develop and maintain salary structures, job families, and leveling frameworks.
• Provide guidance and training on compensation philosophy, policies, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency, pay equity).
• Collaborate with finance and system integrity teams for accurate data management and reporting.
• Prepare and submit Personnel Action Forms to drive approved changes in systems of record.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in compensation analysis and program administration.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Proactive communication skills with the ability to train and advise staff.
• Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
