.NET Application Developer – Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking a .NET Application Developer to join our Nairobi development team. You will work on building and maintaining digital solutions for our clients, collaborating closely with front‑end developers, designers, and system engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and APIs using .NET Core / .NET.
• Build and support web applications and CMS‑based solutions.
• Design, develop, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
• Assist in project planning by estimating timelines and technical effort.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, designers, and system teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Provide regular progress updates to the team and stakeholders.
• Stay current with new Microsoft and cloud technologies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with .NET Core / .NET and C#.
• Proven experience building APIs and backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database design and development.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience using Visual Studio and Git for development and version control.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Kentico, Sitefinity, or Sitecore.
