Network Administration Officer

About the role

The Network Administration Officer will maintain and monitor the core network, security, and voice infrastructure for DIB Bank's data centres and enterprise network, ensuring high availability and efficient IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design and present feasible network solutions to IT management.
• Install, configure, manage and monitor the bank’s enterprise network for data, voice and security.
• Maintain network lifecycle management including planning, design, deployment, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with vendors for installation activities and manage projects for head‑office and branch networks.
• Design and manage enterprise information flows, key management and protection services.
• Maintain audit records and documentation for data centre, disaster recovery, products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in network administration or a similar domain.
• Strong planning, organization, relationship management and communication skills.

Required skills

• CCNP (Routing & Switching, Security, Voice) and preferably CCIE certification.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, CUCM and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols, Layer 2 technologies and network security.
• Experience with network monitoring systems and F5 load balancers (preferred).
• Familiarity with ITIL, IT governance and Islamic banking principles (preferred).
