About the role
The Network Administrator will design, configure, maintain and monitor the hospital’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable ICT services for all clinical and administrative users.
Key responsibilities
- Design, plan, install and configure LAN, WAN and wireless networks.
- Manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and maintain baseline configurations and backups.
- Implement and monitor network security policies, firewalls, access controls and logs.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimise network performance.
- Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor network uptime and capacity, and produce documentation.
- Liaise with external service providers and manage SLAs.
- Provide technical support to end‑users across the hospital.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT or a related field.
- Cisco professional certification.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with LAN, WAN and wireless networking.
- Experience in network security, firewall configuration and access control.
