Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for a global leader in software development and IT services. This hybrid position blends remote work with occasional on‑site collaboration, offering exposure to cutting‑edge security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time.
• Develop, enforce, and update network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into network architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network security engineering or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and overall network infrastructure.
