Night Auditor – Front Office

About the role

The Night Auditor supports the Front Office team by ensuring accurate daily financial reporting and delivering exceptional guest service during overnight hours. This position balances accounting duties with front‑desk responsibilities to guarantee smooth operations from guest arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Balance and audit room revenue, taxes, cashier reports, and guest/house accounts.
• Prepare and transmit daily management and accounting reports, including customer tracking, market segmentation, and food‑and‑beverage revenue reports.
• Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out, and any inquiries or complaints, maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information and ensure security of room access.
• Follow hotel safety policies, report accidents, and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Provide up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel services, rates, promotions, and local attractions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Previous front‑desk experience in a hotel, preferably within the Hilton brand.
• Familiarity with Hilton OnQ or similar property management systems is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hilton OnQ (or comparable PMS) for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to handle cash and credit‑card transactions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for financial reconciliation.
