Odoo Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Odoo Accountant to join our finance team in Nairobi. You will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records using Odoo, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting and financial records using Odoo accounting software.
• Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Track and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide accurate financial data for business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in finance or technology sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Odoo accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
