Online Civics Teacher (Live Classes)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic online Civics teacher to join Crimson Global Academy’s live‑learning platform. You will deliver real‑time lessons to high‑school students worldwide, helping them understand government, citizenship and how to engage in society.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live Civics lessons for grades 9‑12, adapting content to a diverse international audience.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback and adjust instruction to ensure strong learning outcomes.
• Design and assign homework, tests and examinations, and contribute high‑quality materials to CGA’s resource library.
• Maintain the online classroom on Canvas, organising assignments and assessments for easy student access.
• Collaborate with the CGA team, communicating clear course schedules and assessment timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of high‑school teaching experience (Grades 9‑12) in a school setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Political Science or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents and colleagues.
• Familiarity with US high‑school curriculum and associated external examinations.
• Passion for technology‑enabled education and online teaching platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canvas learning management system.
