Online AP Chinese Teacher (Remote)

About the role

Crimson Global Academy is seeking an experienced online teacher to deliver live, personalised AP Chinese Language and Culture lessons to motivated students worldwide. You will help learners achieve advanced Mandarin proficiency and succeed on the AP examination.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Prepare students for all components of the AP Chinese exam (listening, reading, speaking, writing, cultural competency).
• Utilise a variety of digital tools and teaching strategies to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess progress, provide targeted feedback, and adjust instruction to improve outcomes.
• Develop and communicate clear course schedules, homework, and assessments.
• Contribute high‑quality educational materials to CGA’s learning resources.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting (tutoring does not count).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chinese, Languages, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• High proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong understanding of Chinese language instruction across reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology‑enabled education.
