Operation Customer Expert (Local/Expat) – Mombasa

About the role

As an Operation Customer Expert (Local/Expat) you will monitor and apply client policies to user‑generated content from the Sub‑Saharan African region, ensuring that all posts comply with platform standards and protecting the community.

Key responsibilities

• Gain in‑depth knowledge of client policies and guidelines and use them to review and moderate flagged or reported content.
• Apply regional market knowledge to identify scalable solutions that improve community support and content quality.
• Ensure information‑security practices are followed, report any compliance or security incidents, and protect confidential data.
• Identify process improvements, meet efficiency, productivity and quality targets, and communicate findings across management levels.
• Maintain awareness of cultural, political and social trends in the supported market to make informed moderation decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a content moderation role.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and business‑fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to navigate conflicting interests, think creatively and deliver solutions.
• Experience presenting data and creating PowerPoint presentations for international audiences.
• Proven capability to build positive relationships in a complex, international environment.
