Operations Manager – Amazon Logistics

About the role

Amazon Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead performance and productivity across delivery routes in Mexico. The role will partner with the Delivery Station team to ensure quality, safety and efficiency while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set and communicate strategy and performance goals, monitor productivity through training, analysis and feedback.
• Collaborate with the AMZL Delivery Station management to maintain quality control standards.
• Identify and lead process‑improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tasks and track project progress.
• Communicate across teams to align goals and ensure program success.
• Perform strategic planning, forecasting, problem resolution and performance appraisal.
• Manage multiple complex projects, gather and analyze data, and present insights and recommendations.
• Develop and implement improvements to the transportation network for flexible, efficient product delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, building security and loss‑prevention procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 6+ years of operational experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Preferred: 1+ year of performance metrics, process improvement or Lean experience; MBA.
