Operations Manager – Security Services

About the role

Shanali Limited is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise its security operations across client sites in Nairobi. The role involves recruiting, training, and supervising security personnel while ensuring high service standards and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit qualified, disciplined, and trustworthy security guards.
• Identify, recruit, train and manage competent supervisors.
• Handle staff and client complaints with strong conflict‑resolution skills.
• Prevent security incidents, theft and operational failures through effective planning and supervision.
• Conduct thorough background checks and verify guarantors or references for every guard.
• Deploy guards efficiently across all client locations.
• Prepare operational reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Maintain discipline, accountability and professionalism to protect the company’s reputation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to high service standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client sites.
