Operations Specialist (Courier Operations)

About the role

The Supply Operations Specialist will lead and supervise Glovo couriers in expansion cities, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high service levels. You will act as a bridge between couriers, the Operations Manager, and other stakeholders, driving efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to internal stakeholders.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new couriers.
• Maintain documentation and readiness for brand delivery.
• Optimize courier acquisition, retention, and performance.
• Evaluate and improve operational processes for efficiency.
• Maintain and analyse operational metrics, producing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Facilitate communication with the Operations Manager on support processes.
• Advise on financial well‑being, monitor regulatory compliance, and manage insurance policies.
• Analyze metrics to optimise delivery times and courier earnings.
• Manage stock and courier equipment, ensuring quality bags are available.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and quick problem‑solving ability.
• High motivation to work in a fast‑growing environment.
• Analytical mindset with comfort using Excel.
• Enjoy teaching and onboarding new employees.
• Positive energy and dedication even on challenging days.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
