Outside Sales Representative – Foodservice & Specialty Ingredients

About the role

The Outside Sales Representative will be the face of The Chefs' Warehouse, delivering premium specialty ingredients to restaurants, caterers, hotels and retail outlets. You will grow revenue by developing new business and deepening relationships with existing accounts across an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Expand revenue within existing customer accounts.
• Compile prospect lists using trade shows, directories, industry publications and online sources.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet existing and potential customers.
• Present product samples and catalogs that highlight key features and benefits.
• Quote prices, credit terms and prepare contracts for orders.
• Provide accurate estimates and maintain order timelines.

Required profile

• Passionate about food, sales and building lasting customer relationships.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable with frequent travel.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently while representing the company’s brand.
