Outside Sales Representative – Foodservice & Specialty Ingredients

About the role

The Outside Sales Representative will be the face of The Chefs' Warehouse, delivering premium specialty ingredients to restaurants, caterers, hotels and retail outlets. You will build strong relationships with chefs and food‑service professionals, helping them discover new products and solutions that elevate their menus.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and grow revenue by prospecting and expanding existing accounts.
• Compile and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers using networking, trade shows, directories and online sources.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory to meet existing and potential clients, present product samples and catalogs, and secure orders.
• Quote prices, negotiate credit terms, and prepare contracts for approved orders.
• Provide accurate estimates and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity.
