Packaging Casual – Full‑time Bakery Production

About the role

We are looking for reliable Packaging Casuals to join our bakery production line in Mlolongo. You will be responsible for preparing bakery products for distribution while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Package bakery items according to approved procedures, ensuring correct weight, seal, label and arrangement.
• Inspect finished goods for defects, report non‑conforming items and support product traceability.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food‑safety protocols, keeping workstations clean and organized.
• Meet daily packaging targets, assist production teams during peak periods and help load finished products for dispatch.
• Operate packaging tools safely, report equipment faults and maintain a safe work environment.
• Handle packaging materials, monitor usage, minimise waste and support proper storage.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG or a similar production environment.
• Proven ability to work accurately under production schedules and adhere to quality standards.
