About the role

Mama Ngina University College, a constituent college of Kenyatta University, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to take up part-time teaching positions. The college offers part-time teaching in Nursing and medical-related areas, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Psychology, Public Policy, Governance, Education and Natural Sciences.

Required profile

• A PhD in the relevant field from a recognized university, or a Master's degree in the relevant field with at least two years of university teaching or industry experience.
• Evidence of university-level teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
• For postgraduate teaching, evidence of research and publications in refereed journals is an added advantage.

Application procedure

• Applications are accepted online through the college's job portal or by hard copy to the Principal, by 26 May 2026 at 5.00 p.m. East African Time.
• Online applicants must complete the job profile, upload a detailed CV, a copy of ID/passport, copies of academic certificates, testimonials and letters of appointment as lecturer, and attach a cover letter.
• Manual applications go in a sealed envelope marked for the position applied for.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted; canvassing leads to automatic disqualification.
