Part-time Pediatric Peer Reviewer (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced researcher with a PhD to join our editorial team as a part‑time peer reviewer for pediatric manuscripts. This long‑term, remote position allows you to contribute your expertise to the scientific community while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for completeness and relevance.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, detailed feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your evaluation.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
• Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
