Part-time Teacher of French (Subject Lead)

About the role

We are looking for an outstanding and creative Teacher of French to join our Greenwich campus as Subject Lead. This fully remote, part‑time position involves delivering live, synchronous lessons to small classes of up to 15 students while shaping the strategic direction of the French curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging online French lessons covering listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Integrate cultural understanding of the Francophone world throughout the curriculum.
• Lead the French subject area, setting vision, designing curriculum and ensuring consistency across Key Stage 3, iGCSE and upcoming International A Level programmes.
• Develop in‑house KS3 schemes of work and align teaching with Pearson Edexcel International GCSE specifications.
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments, track student progress and provide actionable feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching French at KS3 and iGCSE levels.
• Ability to lead curriculum design and maintain high academic standards.
• Strong knowledge of French language, grammar and Francophone cultures.
• Comfortable delivering lessons to an international, online student base.
