Partnerships Manager – UK/Europe

About the role

Oxford Data Plan is looking for a self‑motivated Partnerships Manager to source, negotiate, and close data partnership deals across the UK and Europe. This fully remote, individual‑contributor position offers the chance to shape the company’s growth in the fast‑moving alternative data sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new data partners across core verticals, maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Lead end‑to‑end partnership processes from outreach through discovery, evaluation, and closure.
• Conduct discovery calls to assess strategic fit and commercial potential.
• Participate in commercial negotiations with senior team members, progressing toward independent deal ownership.
• Manage existing partner relationships, handling renewals and expansion opportunities.
• Contribute to building a scalable partnerships playbook and pipeline infrastructure.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in data partnerships, data sourcing, or business development within the alternative data or financial data services ecosystem.
• Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing data partnership deals.
• Working knowledge of data licensing concepts, MSAs, and commercial pricing structures.
• Comfortable thriving in a high‑growth, start‑up environment and managing competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for partner‑facing interactions.
