Partnerships & Private Sector Engagement Manager

About the role

The Partnerships & Private Sector Engagement Manager will lead the development and execution of partnership strategies for the Inclusive Africa Program (IAP) and the Inclusive Africa Conference (IAC), mobilising private‑sector, public‑sector and civil‑society actors to advance disability inclusion across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an integrated partnership and market‑engagement strategy, mapping and prioritising corporate prospects based on strategic fit and sustainability.
• Build and manage a partnership pipeline and CRM, overseeing due diligence, agreements, commitments, risks and renewals.
• Lead outreach, pitches and negotiations to secure corporate sponsorships, co‑funding, in‑kind support and long‑term strategic commitments.
• Connect partners to Working Groups, conference sessions and implementation pathways, translating commitments into measurable outcomes.
• Track partnership income, in‑kind contributions and deliverables against targets, producing dashboards and commitment trackers for reporting.
• Represent inABLE at high‑level meetings, conferences and sector platforms as delegated.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in marketing (or a strong bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience).
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in private‑sector marketing, corporate partnerships, business development or strategic engagement.
• Proven track record of securing high‑value cross‑sector partnerships and managing senior‑level relationships, pitches and negotiations.
