Parts Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised, customer‑focused Parts Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. In this role you will help customers find and purchase the correct parts for their vehicles, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone or email with parts inquiries.
• Identify the correct parts using customer descriptions or vehicle identification numbers (VIN).
• Provide accurate price quotes and availability information.
• Process parts orders and coordinate timely delivery or pickup.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Work closely with the service department to fulfil parts requests for repairs.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns regarding parts orders.
• Build strong relationships through exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a parts advisory or automotive parts department is preferred.
• Bilingual ability (English plus another language) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is desirable.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer‑service best practices.
