Parts Sales Advisor

About the role

The Simba Group is seeking a Parts Sales Advisor to drive automotive parts sales from its Westlands retail and workshop counters. You will interact with customers across multiple channels, process orders accurately, and support the parts ordering team to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle retail and workshop counter sales, respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
• Develop and maintain a diversified customer base via phone, email, WhatsApp and in‑person interactions.
• Achieve sales targets by upselling, cross‑selling and reactivating inactive customers.
• Process sales orders in the ERP system, perform substitution checks and manage returns according to SOPs.
• Submit Vehicle Off Road (VOR) parts lists and record lost sales to improve stock forecasting.
• Provide post‑sale follow‑up, address customer concerns and gather feedback for service improvement.
• Generate accurate quotations, orders and picking lists; coordinate with warehouse staff for timely fulfillment.
• Maintain organized filing of LPOs, invoices and related documents.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Automotive or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in auto‑parts sales.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for order processing and reporting.
