About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to join the School of Public Health & Community Development. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in public health and community development subjects.
• Prepare and update course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and assessments.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and research activities.
• Provide academic guidance and support to enrolled students.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Public Health, Community Development, or related field).
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the tertiary level.
• Strong academic record with relevant professional or research experience.
