Deputy Nursery Manager – Full Time

About the role

You will support the Nursery Manager in delivering high‑quality early years education and care for children aged birth to 5. The role combines creative activity planning with operational responsibilities to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities for children.
• Assist the Nursery Manager with day‑to‑day operations, including staffing and finance.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
• Partner with parents to support children’s development and wellbeing.
• Help uphold curriculum quality and the centre’s teaching model.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong team‑leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
• Level 3 or higher childcare qualification.
• Ability to safeguard and protect children.
• Positive, reliable, and friendly attitude.
