Part‑time Peer Reviewer – Industrial Engineering (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Industrial Engineering to join our remote peer‑review team on a long‑term, part‑time basis. You will evaluate scholarly manuscripts submitted to academic journals, ensuring scientific rigor and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and contribution of each manuscript.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check the literature review for completeness and up‑to‑date citations.
• Analyse results, verify that conclusions are supported by data.
• Provide constructive, clear, and objective feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑review‑ready publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.

Required skills
