Pellet Packing Supervisor

About the role

The Pellet Packing Supervisor will lead the daily packing operations of plastic pellets at our recycling facility in Westlands, Nairobi. You will ensure that all products are correctly bagged, labeled, and documented while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the packing of plastic pellets into designated bags and verify correct labeling.
• Inspect packed pellets for quality compliance and address any issues promptly.
• Train, schedule, and allocate tasks to packing staff, fostering an efficient work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of packed products, inventory levels, and quality discrepancies.
• Ensure all packing activities comply with safety regulations and conduct regular safety checks.
• Perform inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate stock with the recycling manager.
• Monitor the automatic packing line to sustain productivity and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Proven experience in packing operations, preferably within a recycling or manufacturing setting.
