About the role
Equity Afia is seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Technologist to join its network of franchised outpatient centres. The role focuses on ensuring quality assurance (EQA) for pharmaceutical services, supporting safe medication practices, and maintaining accurate health records.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain documentation and record‑keeping for all pharmaceutical activities.
- Follow prescribed care plans and administer medication and prescriptions accurately.
- Manage stock and inventory of medicines and related supplies.
- Support general medical and pharmaceutical operations within the centre.
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Required profile
- Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- At least three years of post‑internship experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Registered with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Health Management Information Systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
