Physical Distribution Manager

About the role

L'Oréal is seeking a proactive leader to oversee all physical flows, inbound and outbound, and manage third‑party logistics providers. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will drive logistics performance, cost efficiency and service quality across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, distribution centers, transportation and customs agents, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Optimize warehousing, transportation and distribution processes to meet business objectives.
• Track and analyse performance metrics, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Control logistics budgets while maintaining high service levels and quality standards.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, customer‑service and commercial teams to align logistics strategies with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and L'Oréal’s sustainability targets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in physical distribution, warehousing, transportation, customs and quality & safety management, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage 3PL contracts and hold partners accountable to performance metrics.
• Strong financial acumen for logistics cost optimisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
