Pilot & Customer Success Manager Intern

About the role
You will own the founding 10 paid pilots and the retention & referral engine for an African healthcare startup. The role involves ensuring each pilot signs a contract, hits success metrics, and progresses through onboarding, activation, renewal and referral stages.
Key responsibilities
- Run pilot kick‑offs with a signed contract and agreed success metric.
- Conduct day‑1, day‑7 and day‑25 customer calls using approved scripts.
- Escalate any clinical question to a clinician and never give clinical advice.
- Collect written testimonial releases before using any logo or video.
- Run referral asks and track referred payers.
Required profile
- Organised, patient and excellent on the phone.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and CRMs.
- Strong written English and Kiswahili.
