Plumber

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join Accor’s facilities maintenance team. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems across our commercial hospitality facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive plumbing work including troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation across the facility.
• Maintain and repair domestic water distribution, heating and chilled water piping, storm and sanitary systems, and related equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues, delivering quality workmanship with minimal disruption.
• Implement temporary and permanent solutions to sustain system performance and reliability.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programs to keep plumbing systems safe and efficient.
• Maintain kitchen plumbing fixtures, sinks, drains, and related equipment.
• Assist with pool and spa system maintenance, including pumps, filtration, valves, and water circulation components.
• Support renovation and capital projects through planning, installation, and execution activities.
• Document all work in the maintenance management system and monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations in Kenya.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies and work flexible hours as needed.
• Good documentation and inventory management skills.
