PP SHEETING EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERATOR

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PP Sheeting Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves running and monitoring extrusion equipment to produce high-quality polypropylene sheets while meeting production targets and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor PP sheeting extrusion machines efficiently.
• Set up machines, perform adjustments and changeovers, including die changes.
• Optimise production parameters to minimise material waste.
• Identify and resolve machine-related issues promptly.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and report faults.
• Keep the production area clean, organised and safe.
• Follow all company health, safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years proven experience operating PP sheeting extrusion machines.
• Consistent track record of producing high-quality PP sheets.
• Strong understanding of machine setup, operation, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Ability to change dies and optimise production parameters.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance and safety procedures.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.
