Primary & Early Years Teacher (3 positions)

About the role

Excel Academy Limited is seeking three qualified teachers to join its lower primary and early years programmes immediately. The positions are full‑time and based in Westlands, Nairobi, supporting the school’s competency‑based curriculum (CBC) approach.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for lower primary (P1‑P3) and early years classes.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records in line with the TSC guidelines.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and implement the CBC curriculum.
• Participate in parent‑teacher meetings and school events.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Minimum of a B.Ed (Early Childhood Development) or a Diploma in ECD, or an equivalent P1 teaching certificate.
• Valid Teacher Service Commission (TSC) certificate.
• At least two years of teaching experience in lower primary or early years education.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student development.
